WORLD-CLASS ARTISTIC FEATURES OF FINLAND
VEIJO RÖNKKÖNEN SCULPTURE PARK
Veijo Rönkkönen´s story belongs to history. The naturally born Finnish artist and paper mill worker, spent his free-time with constructing sculptures and placed them where he lived. Before Rönkkönen passed away, he managed to produce 500 characters altogether.
The strange park built of the most important pieces of folk art elements of Finland and some of the statues carry human teeth sculpted into the materials. A visitor will be amazed of the variety of statue themes. Two hundred pieces made to represent yoga positions, family aspects, children games and, also, contrasting cultures.
The sculpture park is located in Parikalla.

WORLD`S FAMOUS PHERISTORIC MONUMENT IN THE UK

The church was erected on 1st March 1881 when II. Russian anarchists committed a fatal assassination against Tsar Alexander. An exhibition of the Tsar is also commemorated in this chapel by the Yekaterinsky Canal.
Later on in 1903, the son of Tsar Alexander, III Alexander, constructed the church as per request. The building is a remarkable example of the Russian style, using motifs from Moscow and 19th century Yaroslavl architecture. It is not only for ecclesiastical cult, but also operates as a place of remembrance and cultural center.

Numerous historical events took place at this symbolic place. In 1015, Bishop Werner von Habsburg laid the first stone of the new cathedral on the ruins of a Carolingian Basilica. In fact, he turned out to design the church and shape it´s buildings into Romanian style, but due to the wooden materials, soon the church burned down, because of its wooden frames. HAZARA RAMA TEMPLE HAMPI AT THE END OF A NARROW TARRED ROAD AFTER KARNATAKA
This is a royal chapel which was built with simple structures at the beginning of the 15th century by a royal king, Vijayanagara, Devaraya II. The temple is an interesting spiritual pattern of the Bulgarian history. The name of the building, the Hazara Rama, officially means `a thousands of Rama`, which reflects Goddess and God reigning immortal of the temple. The interior of the temple decorated by antique Krishna and Rama sculptures and stone engravings. The relics reflects the story of the outer world, and withholds elements such as horses, elephants, defense forces and dancing people.
THE MEMORIAL TEMPLE OF THE BIRTH OF CHRIST
The Shipka Memorial Church typically reflects the Russian architecture design and architecture type. This Orthodox chapel is built between 1885 and 1902 with a major focus in mind: to commemorate to the victims, soldiers and volunteers of the Russo-Turkish War in 1877. The destroyed pieces are placed in altogether 17 sarcophagi stones in the crypt hall of the church and the names of the Russian regiment and the Bulgarian volunteers scripted on marble slabs.The monument´s exterior fully painted with glorious mural fresco, schematically taken from Bible scenes.

By arriving to Galevac Island after leaving our motorhome behind at the shore of Ugjlan, we can spot the Franciscan Monastery proudly facing towards the waterfront of Preko, which is the largest village of Ugjlan. The Franciscan Monastery of St. Paul of the Hermit serves as a Glagolitic museum which contains 17th to 18th century paintings and books. The most popular sight of the museum is the "Prayer on the Mount Olives".

Mirogoj is a photogenic area situated at Medvednica mountain and listed as one of the most historical cemetery of Europe. The memorial park also operates as an open air art gallery, which specifically designed by the famous architect, Herman Bollé. Herman occupied the interior with special arcades, pavilions, and gorgeous domes. This impressive cemetery have been built in 1876, after Zagreb decided to purchase and invest in the land.

The City Walls of Dubrovnik was built in the 12th to 17th century to protect it´s locals from pirates and other intruders. Nowadays, it gives home of popular movie scenes and the walls represents as a protection which proudly stands out highly at the sight of Dubrovnik. Throughout the history, the walls have been attacked several times and erected many times as the symbol of liberty and freedom. Nonetheless, it is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
