Finland´s most popular hiking trail is the Bear’s Trail (Karhunkierros in Finnish). For nature enthusiasts, the Bear’s Trail guarantees mesmerizing sights through lots of sweat-breaking kilometres. Karhunkierros has two hiking trails and each of them takes a couple of days to complete. Both trails are connected  at the end. INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES BEFORE VISITING THE HIDDEN TREASURES

Kindly notice that lighting fires across both Finnish national parks is strictly forbidden. Camping is allowed if not close to wilderness huts and campfire sites. Outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, skiing, canoeing, rowing and hiking are restricted in some areas. To protect the environment, mountain biking is forbidden at Palkaskero and Keimiötunturi Fells, as well as at Varkaankuru, Tuomikuru and Pirunkuru Gorges. Picking berries, mushrooms and other natural gifts of the forest is restricted in certain areas of national and nature parks.

MOUNT ESJA HIKING TRAIL

The hiking place is closely situated to Reykjavik in a fair distance. Esja, which is a volcanic mountain range, is a wonderful place to enjoy the magical Icelandic nature after a short visit to the city, we have the possibility to go climbing and hiking in untamed mountain surroundings. Mount Esja is easily accessible with a motorhome and, also it offers a free of charge parking lot.

Numerous hiking trails are leaning to the top of this volcanic mountain range, varied terrains according to different skill levels. If you are a beginner, we recommend to start your journey from Esjurætur Hiking Center. FOR ALL AGES AND FITNESS LEVELS, A WILD LANDSCAPE AND FINE SHOWCASE TO HIKE ACROSS A DARTMOOR LANDSCAPE

If you plan to take it easy, but also would like to see some real treasure along your journey, than we recommend to choose Pew Tor and Windy Post Cross which is a quite easy trekking area for 6 hours. This path includes a car park to leave your motorhome behind and start your hiking adventure already in a doorstep of your motorhome. Spot the birds from bird watching places aside the hiking trail and end on the top of Pew Tor by observing over the views to Brentor Church. When reaching the peak and you had the chance to enjoy the majestic views, than follow the path until you get to spot the historic features of the 16th century, the Windy Post Cross. The path will lead you back to the car park.

Moderate Skill Level

For such skill levels, we urge you to choose the Princetown Audio Walk which is a 10 km hiking trail from the High Moorland and Visitor Centre. You will spot some great treasures here too! Walk through waterfalls and interesting water works, canals, and be part of the Bronze Age settlements and stone series. Several paths are connected together which offers a comfortable opportunity to see all the aspects of the national park.

BALANCING ROCK WALES AND THE WALKING ROUTES OF GLYDER FAWR AND GLYDER FACH, SNOWDONIA RANGE

A real adventurous experience to our motorhome lifestyle followers located at the Welsh mountain region: Welcome to rock bottom paradise, the Gylders, where none of the routes are easy, nor comfy. Steep rocky tracks, tricky territories, but a real satisfactory for hikers and outdoor adventures. Drive up to Capel Curig and park your motorhome at the entrance of Tryfan! The Glyder Fawr takes altogether 3 hours to get to the peak, which is approximately 1001 metres high. If you chasing the Glyder Fach, than 3 hours will take you up to 994 metres. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE VISITING THE GEOLOGICAL FORMATIONS OF THE KILT ROCK AND MEALT FALLS

The famous Kilt Rock is one of an outstanding nature expedition to the east of Trotternish kilt. This beautiful basalt composition is close by the Mealt Waterfall which gorgeously falls down to the Sound of Raasay. Many of us underestimate the power of a three hour hike to a 613 meter high Torridonian sandstone. MOUNT ELBRUS, RUSSIA`S HIGHEST PEAK

Mount Elbrus stands 5.642 meter high and offers outstanding possibility for both beginners and advance climbers to enjoy a rapid terrain with a fine lookout. Two major routes are available on the South and North. While the South route, in which begins at Azu village, is the most easiest, than the North trail can be more adventurous and challenging, especially with its unbeaten tracks which takes up to 6 to 8 days to hike and climb. However, two other routes are also located here: The West Route (starts from Polyana Dzhily-Su) and the East Route (starts from Elbrus village) which are the wildest compared to the previous two hiking trails on the South and North.

HIKING IN ALTAI MOUNTAIN RUSSIA

Wild camping is not forbidden in Russia and of course, for couple of days (2-3) is allowed to stay with or without registration and permit. Concerning local rules, please, avoid camping close to urban territories and wild camping in a land of church, privatized areas remains illegal and untolerated. Make sure not to light up a campfire during hot summer days and prepare for the wild territories which filled with bears, wolves or bugs.

GREAT KEMERI BOG BROADWALK

The Great Kemeri Bog walk will make it easier for you to gaze the rare bird species flying over the long, solid nutrients. One and a half hours will be enough to take a tour around a typical Latvian nature landmark, which surrounded by thrilling lakes and wild rosemary, where silence lingering from quiet buzz of a pine tree. If you keen to take longer trails, a 3.7 km broad walk will lead your path all over the way. Take a route with the motorhome and come from Ventspils motorway (A10) until the signs will lead you to the front of the of the Kemeri Bog Boardwalk which will offer a parking lot for your arrival.

Let us introduce you to the widest waterfall of Europe. Beside it´s photogenic surroundings, the Venta Waterfall offers jumping fishes to mesmerize in early autumn and late spring too.
