INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES BEFORE VISITING THE HIDDEN TREASURES
Kindly notice, lighting fires across both Finnish national park is strictly forbidden. Camping is allowed unless it is held closed to wilderness huts and campfire sites. Outdoor activities; such as snowmobiling, skiing, canoeing, rowing and hiking are restricted in some areas. To protect the environment, mountain biking is forbidden at Palkaskero and Keimiötunturi Fells or at Varkaankuru, Tuomikuru and Pirunkuru Gorges. Picking berries, mushrooms and natural gifts of the forest is restricted in particular areas of the nature park.
