Keflavik International Airport (KEF)
When you arrive to Keflavik International Airport our driver will meet you just outside the terminal building. You can almost see the rental station at the end of the runway but our polite staff will drive you to the camper rental station.
First step of your camper rental in Iceland is full personal orientation to your beautiful rental camper. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and get tips on local customs. After returning your camper at our rental station, we’ll provide you with a free transportation back to the airport.
1. BLUE LAGOON
This is probably the most well known spa in the world. Park your rental camper for a while and take a bath in bright blue geothermal water originating from 2000 meters below the surface. The temperature is always around 37-40°C (98-104°F), year-round. Blue Lagoon is right on Touring Cars´ doorstep. 2. ÞINGVELLIR NATIONAL PARK
Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park is one of the most famous historical sites in Iceland that was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2004. This magnificent venue is truly worth adding to the itinerary of your rental camper adventure in Iceland. This area has truly unique geology and natural features. As an example this is one of the only places in the world where you can see a visual representation of continental drift. At the North part of this area you´ll find volcanoes Askja, Kverkjöll and Snæfell which dominate the area with powerful glacial rivers. Eastern parts feature vast wetlands and expansive ranges. The south side is characterised by beautiful mountain ridges, and their numerous glaciers descending between them.
5. JÖKULSÁRGLJÚFUR NATIONAL PARK
This natural haven is featuring beautiful waterfalls, big canyons and rock formations in all shapes and sizes. Jökulsárgljúfur National Park is perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities so find the most beautiful spot for your rental camper and enjoy the best what Iceland has to offer!
